FCE Obudu Launches New Community Website - Everything You Need to Know

Federal College of Education, Obudu is proud to announce the official launch of its redesigned website and community platform — a modern, all-in-one digital home for our growing family of students, staff, alumni, and supporters.

This is more than a new look. The new platform is a living, connected community space designed to bring every member of the FCE Obudu family closer together — wherever they are in the world.

What Is New

Schools & Departments Directory

Explore all 12 schools and over 80 departments across the NCE, B.Ed Degree, and PDE programmes. Every school page now features the Dean's profile, and every department page highlights the Head of Department alongside the full academic staff roster.

Community Directory

Search and connect with students, staff, alumni, and Friends of FCE Obudu — well-wishers and supporters around the world. Filter by school, department, or college unit to find exactly who you are looking for.

Personal Profile Pages

Every registered member gets a full public profile — complete with a photo, bio, work experience, publications, awards, appointments, and social links. Your profile is your digital identity within the FCE Obudu community.

Complaints & Support

Have a concern, suggestion, or feedback for the college administration? The new Complaints feature lets you send a private message to the administration. You will receive a direct reply right inside the platform, and a notification will alert you when your complaint is answered.

News, Events & Blog

Stay informed with official college news, upcoming events, and community blog posts — all searchable, categorised, and delivered in a clean, readable format.

Business Pages

Community members can create a dedicated business profile page to promote their products and services within the FCE Obudu network — connecting the college community to local and online enterprises.

Real-Time Notifications

Never miss an important update. The platform sends real-time notifications for complaint replies, event announcements, and other key activities — all visible from your profile menu.

Fully Mobile-Friendly

The new website works beautifully on any device — smartphone, tablet, or desktop — so you can stay connected from anywhere. In fact, you can install the website on your devices and it works like your regular app.

What You Should Do Now

Here is a simple checklist to help you get started on the new platform:

  1. Create your account — Click Join Community Free on the homepage. Registration is free and takes less than two minutes. If you already have an account, simply log in.
  2. Complete your profile — Upload a clear profile photo, write a short bio, and add your qualifications, publications, and social links. A complete profile helps others find and connect with you.
  3. Explore the Community Directory — Search for classmates, colleagues, and lecturers. You can filter by school, department, or college unit.
  4. Visit your School and Department page — Go to Academics → Schools to find your school's official page, meet the Dean, and see all departments listed under it.
  5. Apply for your institutional email (Academic Staff only) — Staff members can apply for an official @fceobudu.edu.ng email address from their profile page. Look for the Institutional Email option in your account menu.
  6. Read and share news and events — Check the News and Events sections regularly for official college announcements, academic calendars, and community updates.
  7. Join the conversation — Visit the Forum to start or join discussions on topics that matter to the college community. You can also write and publish blog posts to share your knowledge and experiences.
  8. Send feedback — Use the My Complaints option in your account menu to share feedback, report issues, or ask questions. The administration reads and responds to every message.

Need Help?

If you encounter any difficulty registering, updating your profile, or navigating the platform, please send a message through the My Complaints feature in your account menu. Our support team will respond promptly.

We are excited to have you on this new platform. Together, we will build a stronger, more connected FCE Obudu community.
