Essentially, the vision of the Pre – NCE programme in the college subsumes the following:
I. To address the low intake of students into some programmes, especially Sciences, Vocational and Technical, as well as Languages.
II. To serve as a route through which students can be attracted into the main stream NCE programme, not only into the critical areas mentioned above, but also into the other areas where the college may deem necessary.
III. To prepare and groom prospective students to sit and pass the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) entrance examination (UTME) so that they can obtain scores within the national minimum cut-off point before they can gain admission into the college or other tertiary institutions of their choice.
